| Golden Empire Transit "GET Up & Go" |
|
Produced and created by the Marcom Group Agency and Directed by Mike Lopez for the client, Golden Empire Transit. This campaign was both shot on sound stage and on location, a G.E.T. Bus. The challenges that came with shooting on a moving bus such as lighting and moving a camera on a dolly/jib arm would have been overwhelming had it not been for the ability to remove glass, seats and grab rails. The GET provided an entire bus for the shoot, this meant we had total control to do what was needed to attain the shots. As the spot begins the camera is on a MCU of the passengers in the rear seats of the moving bus. We then dolly the jib arm towards the front of the bus revealing other passengers on both sides of the isle. Landing on our main character of the spot , the jib and dolly reach position 2, protruding out of the front of the bus. The front windsreens were removed as well as all of the grab rails to accommodate the size of the dolly track, dolly, and jib arm. The achieve the ratio of light that came in through the tinted glass windows of the bassing by neighborhood, silver lamaes and silks were fixed to the ceiling of the bus. This provided a great top bounce which had a series of 575 HMI's pushing upwards to balence the lighting ratio. Quite a bit of technical aspects went into making this campaign look smooth and as natural as possible.
