Since earning his MFA in cinematography from the American Film Institute, Dan has spent his time behind the lens collaborating with directors and producers to bring their concepts to the screen.
Still photography has always been an integral aspect of keeping his eye sharp. From pinhole to large format photography, Dan translates those unique concepts and stylistic choices to the motion picture stories he collaborates on. He has shot with Discovery Channel, CMT, MTV, BET, FOX, ABC, Spike, Lifetime, Showtime & Verizon. Currently residing in Los Angeles, Dan has been working the last eight years shooting independent films, commercials, music videos and television shows. Dan Farnam recently shot the National Lampoon feature film ‘Totally Baked’, CMT’s ‘Trick My Truck: Season 2’ television show, and various commercial campaigns for the MARCOM Group agency. |
